Wade vs. Diener

We look forward to being back in Milwaukee for year 3 of Wade vs. Diener: Where Hoops and Hope Collide, Benefiting the Wade Family Foundation.

More than just a basketball showdown, Wade vs. Diener is a slam dunk for Marquette University and the Milwaukee community. This event fuels three incredible initiatives:

Wade Scholars: Empowering the next generation of leaders with scholarships, mentorship, and opportunities to make a real difference.

A New Basketball Practice Facility: Building a state-of-the-art home for Marquette basketball, where student-athletes can train, grow, and inspire.

Tragil-Wade Johnson Summer Reading Program: Fostering a love of reading in young children, opening doors to a brighter future filled with possibilities.

From Court to Classroom to Community

Wade vs. Diener creates a powerful ripple effect. Our reading program and Wade Scholars ignite a passion for learning, setting kids on a path towards college and beyond. The new practice facility will be more than just a gym—it will be a hub where young readers can connect with Marquette athletes, find mentors, and dream big.

Full Circle of Opportunity

Our ultimate vision? To see a child from our reading program blossom into a Wade Scholar, excel at Marquette, and maybe even play in that very practice facility. Wade vs. Diener is about planting seeds of opportunity and watching them grow into something amazing. Join us and be part of this incredible journey!
